Problem Description#
This issue has been bothering me for several months. It seems to have occurred after a Win11 system update. Suddenly, when I click on Bluetooth in the bottom right corner panel, there is no response, and clicking on the expand button on the right will cause it to "crash".
Moreover, new devices cannot be discovered, and only previously paired devices can be connected.
Solution#
I tried various methods by Googling, but all of them failed (except for reinstalling the system, which I haven't tried yet). Later, I found that a system service Device Association Service
was disabled for some reason. Changing its startup type to "Automatic" in the properties resolved the issue.
Finally, I could see a somewhat unfamiliar interface...
If it weren't for changing headphones, I wouldn't have spent the whole night troubleshooting...
I hope this tutorial can help solve your problem. Even if only one person avoids taking the wrong path because of my article, I will feel very satisfied.
